International Payment via Flywire

Flywire makes payments easy and convenient for international students. It offers competitive foreign exchange rates and allows you to pay in your home currency (in most cases). You can track your payment throughout the process and will receive an email confirmation once your payment is received by Vassar.

If you wire more funds than what is due on the student's account, we will return the overpayment to the originating bank or the student may opt to keep the credit on the account to cover future charges.  The overpayment amount will not be refunded.  If you have questions, please contact our office at stuaccounts@vassar.edu.

Log into Nelnet Quikpay, click view and pay accounts, make a payment. For payment method, chose Flywire. Or go to Flywire and follow these instructions.

Authorized Payers

If a parent, guardian, or other third party is responsible for paying the bill, the student will need to set them up as an "Authorized Payer" in Nelnet. Authorized Payers are able to view current statements, check account activity, and make one-time payments online via their bank account.

Setup Instructions: The student must initiate the process to set up an Authorized Payer in Nelnet Quikpay.

  • To access Nelnet, go to Banner Online

  • Enter your Vassar email (without the @vassar.edu) and password and click login

  • Select "Student and Financial Aid" > “Nelnet E-Bill and E-Payments” > “Nelnet Quikpay”

  • Select “Authorize Payers” and follow the prompts.

  • An email will be sent to the Authorized Payer with further instructions.

Authorized Payer (Parents, guardians, third-parties): Once the student has established you as an authorized payer, click this link to sign into Nelnet Quikpay

Monthly Payment Plan

Vassar College's payment plan is through Nelnet Enterprise Payment Plan Portal.

Payment plans are per semester only.  You will have to enroll for a new plan by the advertised deadline each semester.

Payments for the plan are due on the 5th of each month, and they will be deducted electronically from your checking or savings account.
